are looking for, this is usually the best place to start.
Yahoo
Perhaps the premiere Internet search engine. This online granddaddy of search
engines has a good compilation and organization of resources.
Subscription-Based Sites
netTrekker
You can register for free from an EIA computer, and then you will be able to
access this site from home. This service acts as a very efficient search
engine for completing school work, so you don't have to sift through so many
irrelevant sites.
eLibrary
An online library connected to many different reference materials. Current students
may contact EIA to get the username and password to log in.
Grolier
An online encyclopedia. Before following the above link for the first time,
you will first need to go here
so you can log into the site.
Facts.com
The source of such information as the World Almanac. Can be accessed directly
from EIA computers. Contact EIA for login information from home.
Opposing
Viewpoints
A source of information for reading and writing informed opinions. Many editorials
can be found here, as well as concrete research on many controversial topics
of today. Current students may contact EIA to get password to log in.
